Why the name Mr.Sciocco?
The name Mr.Sciocco was chosen with a clear objective: to restore the joy and pleasure of sweetness in a different way. Often products dedicated to special diets, such as dairy-free, gluten-free, soya-free or vegan, are presented with a sad image and a sense of renunciation. We wanted to break this pattern.
We started with the “S” for safety and friendliness, added the word “Chocolate” with its abbreviation “Ciocco”. Finally, we created a friendly face to represent the person who would innovate, experiment and create the new chocolate. This is how Mr.Sciocco was born. Mr.Sciocco.
The name Mr.Sciocco embodies our desire to offer a chocolate experience that is full of joy, taste and fun.

Fascinated by the countless olfactory and taste nuances of chocolate, he has dedicated himself to transforming this passion into an extraordinary profession.

Why create an alternative to Chocolate?

I am Stefano, the founder of Mr.Sciocco, and surprisingly, I have no food allergies or intolerances.
Here I want to share with you why I decided to produce 100% plant-based alternatives to chocolate.
The answer lies in sad faces.
During my 12-plus years in the chocolate business, I have all too often been told these words: “I’m sorry, our products contain traces of…”. Imagine the expression on the face of a mother and her child, in front of a counter full of chocolates, pastries, biscuits and other delicacies they will have to give up.
It was those sad faces that gave me the stimulus.
From that moment on, I began to study, delve deeper and understand. And with the help of many people, I am here for you today.
At Mr.Sciocco, we have developed new recipes that respect tradition but with an eye to the future, bringing innovation to the confectionery and “Free From” market, to give everyone the chance not to feel different.
